I'm a size 10/12 and lately i have felt so pressured in to getting slimmer. Magazines and guys are the main reason for this.

    10/12 is NORMAL, right?

Everyone seems to be asking for my height after all the comments and i just want to make it clear that i am 5'7!

according to my brothers clothes sizes are irrelevant. Muscle tone and not having fat in the wrong places is what's important

everyone smaller than 10/12 is a stick? ridiculous

If you are happy with your size then don't lose weight.
If you are unhappy with your size then lose weight.
Do what you feel not what anyone else is trying to make you feel.

    simple.

    I'm happy at a 10. I look too thin at an 8.

I would say 10 is more attractive. But depending on height and tone 12 is perfectly acceptable.

Well, size 12s are nice, but sticks are much better for poking people with and waving around whilst rambling around forests or even for defending yourself against small but surprisingly vicious animals.

But then again, ive never tried to swing a size 10-12 around in the forest. I suppose i should...

Just because it's the average size doesn't mean it's healthy though. Just a few years back the average size was a 12.

Who gives a crap? If you're happy in your body, that's what matters. If you're happy with it, it ought to reflect in your confidence, and that's what's attractive. I mean, i'm a 10/12, but I'm not happy with it. So I'm changing that, despite the number of people who tell me I look fine. Well then, I'll just look damn fine if I lose a bit of weight, won't I. :awesome:

Actual dress size doesn't matter, it just matters what you look like i guess. I'm a size 8/10 and my guy "friend" was like "ohh i thought you looked like a 12" and proceeded to advise me to wear tighter clothing.
