well basically, me and my friend are totally stuck for cash at the moment..
we both had temporary christmas jobs, but as they were only temporary, we are now both unemployed and penniless.

as it's really hard to get jobs nowadays, we were thinking of setting up a dog walking business.. because we live on the same street and like a good walk..

is this just a stupid idea? if it is have you got any other ideas of how we could earn some money?

    Thanks

Well as long as there are 1. several people nearby who have dogs, and 2. plenty of these people who would be willing to pay for someone to walk their dogs, then yeah, maybe worth a shot.

get to the job centre and apply for some jobs!

setting up a buisness no matter how small would be a pain at uni. you would have to do tax returns and all sorts.

Wash cars, walk dogs, mow lawns..

Make a list of jobs and prices, and post them through people's letterboxes. Then see the phonecalls come rolling in!

Depends entirely on how much money you make, the format of the business (and how honest you are).

I buy second hand games in gamestation at 3 or £10 and sell them on amazon (made £45 last week). you have to know your games though. I also sell books that I pick up in charity shops but that's less lucrative. You could become an amazon marketplece seller and see if your cds, dvds, games and books are worth enough to sell.
I also crochet things for people for a few quid a piece. I started by crocheting in the common room and my friends asked if i'd make them stuff. Used to sew too but that never made enough so i gave it up. You could also advertise your services as a cleaner at the post office. Or you could sell stuff on ebay.
If you play an instrument or speak a language and like teaching you could tutor(advertise at the post office or shops with notice boards).
    Hope that helps. Good luck!

    Go on this!
It's a massive list of loads of Dropship websites, all trusted, and there are also some ebooks that come with it that have the "secrets of eBay".

Erm, people generally want dog walkers who they can rely on. As in, every weekday for years, not weeks.
