    Hiya,

I am currently studying Psychology at University and am trying to get my head around SPSS. I am currently doing an experiment using MANOVA. I have written up the majority of my assignment, however am extremely stuck on the results section!

    My experiment consists of:
Violent and Non Violent video game players (IV) and measuring the Stress and Aggression scores of both these groups. I have 54 participants, 27 in the violent and 27 in the non violent group.

I have the results but have no idea how to put them into SPSS and how to analyse them correctly using MANOVA.

I know I'm asking for a lot, but any help would be hugely appreciated.

    Thank you.

Off the top of my head:

    Set three variables
    1. Game Type: Two values: 1 = Violent, 2 = Non-Violent
    2. Stress Score
    3. Aggression Score

Remember to keep one participant per row.

Use the multivariate, setting in all the factors. Make sure all of your assumptions are upheld, if not use corrected versions.

I can look at your data if you send me the .sav file if you like.
