    Are they anygood?
    Has anybody done one?

I haven't used ICS, but I have done a distance learning course. You need to be well-motivated. Usuaully there are variable amounts of tutor support provided, so you need to be a self-starter. These courses tend to be expensive, so if you are interested in a subject that does not have coursework, it might be worth trying to teach yourself. If you contact ICS, they may be willing to send you a sample of their materials. This will allow you to judge the quality for yourself before making a decision.
