We're trying to organise some kind of sponsored event in school soon, to raise money for the Haiti Disaster Appeal.
We're struggling for ideas though, so, anyone got any? :p:

    Cake sale.

    Fancy dress.

    Pakora party.

    Dance competition.

    Treasure hunt.

    Charity football match.

    Quiz.

    Raffle.

All I could think of in 30 seconds.

I organised a Slave-Auction-That-Wasn't-Called-That-'Cause-People-Were-Offended and that raised almost £200 at my school, and its a good laugh!

    Non-school uniform

Sporting event - teacher vs students if possible goes down well

    Talent show

Teacher is stocks + throw, e.g. sponges, at them

My school once did 'Guess the teacher' with pictures of them as babies for a prize

Simply going around with buckets asking for spare change

    Assault course

    Cake/sweets sale

How many sweets in the jar

Guess the name of the teddy bear

    A charity concert

Can't think of any others at the moment...

Just go around telling people you're raising money for Haiti and you'll probably be able to guilt a lot of people into donating

We did this a few weeks ago with the charities team. It's a good fund raiser, but make sure the 'servants' actually turn up after being bought!

Oh, and teacher talent shows are good too... Oh and the performing arts team recently did a Beauty Pageant, but for guys... None could walk in heels!
