Those are decent choices, if they're what you're going to enjoy As far as career options it shouldn't have too much of an effect if you go on to do A levels...so you've still got plenty of time to make decisions.
Just as comparison my choices were:
Triple Science (not really a choice :giggle: )
C1 Math (Also not really a choice :giggle: )
    Business
    ICT
    Religeous Studies AS

My A levels were completely different:
    Maths, Art, Further Maths, Physics
    With AS's:
    Psychology, Chemistry

Applying for a degree in Physics/Astrophysics

So you can pick what you think you'll enjoy now and still be completely free to make future decisions later :yep:

Do you have any idea what you may want to be in the future? Tbh, GCSE choices arent that important in the sense they make you do all the important ones. I would have at least 1 subject that you really enjoy.

As long as you have maths, English and at least dual-award science then your other options really don't matter very much at all, especially in terms of a career. Your A-levels are much more important, and your degree (if you do one) more important again as far as a career goes.

    Go for what you enjoy,
although triple science was a ***** for me
but I had no choice in the matter.

Well it's up to you. I enjoy science and it's one of my best subjects that I'm taking to ALevel (future medic :]). Therefore triple science made sense to me and I'm in yr 11 atm and I still enjoy it. But if you aren't such a science fan, then perhaps another humanity? Languages are always good. Again, it's whatever subject appeals to you.

Hey, I'm in Year 11 at the moment.
I've taken French, Latin, Italian, Geography, History and P.E.

    To be honest, your GCSEs are greatly spread out so that you can still get a job in any career path you want;
it is when you get to your A levels when you need to start focusing on a career as of specialising in fewer subjects.

History to me was my favourite subject in year nine, however, even though I still find the topics we cover interesting, I do not like the way the papers are set out - I find it my hardest gcse, and it's no longer my favourite subject.
I still enjoy it, however you need to be commited if you get a good grade. It is an extremely useful gcse nonetheless and shows universities or if you're applying for a job, that you can write essays.

Take the subjects you will enjoy the most, as you will suceed if you are interested in them. I am happy with all my choices ^^.
For my A levels next year, I have chosen the subjects I am most capable in, to enjoy them and get the highest grades aswell.

Good luck, i hope you will enjoy studying the subjects you choose

Hey there, I took single award science and REALLY regret it, because now I can't take Biology for A Level, so triple science is a good choice. However be warned that you have to do a total of 9 exams, Biology 1,2,3 Physics 1,2,3 and Chemistry 1,2,3...

I would recommend a foreign language too, it always seems better when you choose one. History's really good, I took it! There's a lot of coursework involved for IT but it's fairly easy stuff!

Any ideas about what i should take instead of Triple science
    hey,

don't give up on triple science.

i really regret not taking it, as i toom drama instead and its a waste of my time!

do what you want to do.

your GCSE choices may seam like a big choice, but you can take nearly anything and then take different stuff at tA Level.

don't think to far ahead aswell.

    your opinions may change.

I'm in year 10 now and I took Triple Science and ICT.
I love triple science, and it is a good option to take, but there are alot of lessons (i have 15 science lessons a fortnight). There is alot of work but im sure you'll get through it. ICT is also a good subject as you need to have some knowledge on the computer these days.
Do you have any idea what you want to do when you are older? If you do take the subjects that will help you.
    Good luck
