I joined the gym today and since I couldn't get an introduction to the equipment until next week(!) I went for a swim. After swimming I had a shower and went to my locker, got my towel and dried off. Since I was soaking wet from the shower I dripped a lot on the floor of the locker area to the annoyance of the others there. One guy mentioned that I should dry off at the shower. Fair enough; advice greatfully received since this is my first time ever in a gym.

But I don't understand how I work this. So I come out the pool, walk to my locker and get my towel soaking the place as I do so? Or I shower and walk to my locker and soak the place?

Help please!
