Last Chance Till A2

Err so yeah, if you've got some patience, please read this.

This girl, known her since I was 5, she was part of the brainy crowd. Never properly talked to her until last Sep on an geography trip where she randomly came up to my bunk and talked for ages. Twas cool. This week spent a day with her "helping out" with year 7's on a geaography trip. Got on really well again.

Anyway, the point is, the last chance I have to ask her for her number is tomorrow a BBQ on the last day of term. I've got my theory test and chances are I probably won't be there the same time as her so....

Would it be weird to get her number off a mate (Who I think has it) and call her up in the holidays?
OMGWTF

Just explain that you got itr off a mate and hopefully she'll think it's sweet rather than stalkerish

Yeah definitely will be fine as long as you just ring casually and say i wanted to see you to chat but you werent around so I got your no off a mate.

If both of u got on very well then getting her number from a friend wont bother her so much.
Jus explain that you want to keep in contact with her as its the last day of term and dont phone her like crazy. She wont like it.

When you leave, just say "you're really sound, we should meet up some time, what's your number?". Be casual. It's only a phone number!

yer it is only a phone number. just ask.dont be scared. there is nothing to lose.

Getting it from a mate is fine, text first rather than calling though, always text first.
Reply 8
I would suggest texting first, saying you got the number from a friend and wanted to stay in touch. Good luck

No, Its how i got my gf's number!! lol! She didn't mind. Especially as when I first used it to text her I was wasted and we ended up having a very drunken text message conversation we don't remember!!
