Should I forget about him and move on or not? watch

Okay, to cut an amazingly long story as short as possible, me and this guy have had an on/off relationship (mostly off) since summer and now I'm left hanging.
So, we were together in summer then broke up. Ignored each other for weeks. Got with each other in a party, then ignored each other for weeks again. Then we went out for two weeks over Christmas, broke up on Facebook chat. And now we haven't talked about it and were trying to act normal around each other.
We only broke up because neither of us could handle a relationship atm and he said we should 'wait to see what the future holds' (amazingly cheesy, but whatever).
My friends hate him now for messing me around so much. So really, my question is what do you think I should do? Be his friend, be flirty or just forget I ever met him (not an easy option as I see him everyday and we have the same friends...)
    Gaaa, help!

hmmm, talk to him face to face, go for like a coffee or something and just pin him down, and see what he wants. You need to clear the air, can't believe you broke up on facebook chat!?! TO be brutal with you perhaps he is after a **** buddy rather than a real relationship? Time for you to sack up and chat to him about it I reckon, as hard as that may seem! If you get on well enough at least you can still be friends at the end of it all.....

Tbh it seems that he just wants you two to be hook up buddies. You should have a converstaion with him face to face about how you both feel about eachother and decide from there whether or not to have a relationship or not. As for the Facebook chat break up what the ****??!!! i cant believe it!
