People consider me quiet, especially when they don't know me well.

I'm far from a push over, I can assure you.

Some loud mouths are push overs etc. Being quiet doesn't neccessarily equate to being a push over.

People think that i'm quite - just because I dont feel the need to talk every other second

...and no i'm not a push over at all - thats just a generalisation imo.

Being quiet often means they think a lot more. This can also mean they are less likely to be pushovers, as they think more about the situation.

It's not the same for every case, of course

A famous saying: "The loudest one in the room is the most insecure. The quietest is the strongest."
Pretty sure it was taken from the Godfather.

Some guys are quiet dependent on company (me!), if theres people who piss me off in the immediate proximity I tend to be more watchful of what there saying and doing than I am of socialising. Dunno why, its an annoying habit!

Not strictly true. IF you want to know who the most secure one is, use your eyes. Eye contact will tell you a whole lot. Body language too, you can see straight through those who are bluffing. I can tell straight away when a quiet guy is the strongest, because they have a very noticable aura around them to the trained eye.

oh dawg you juss a hate-ah. If you dont like it dont listen to it. blah blah blah generic generic generic.

I hate people who provide the above.

how do you know you don't like it if you don't listen to it.

    as I digress.

Yeah, I agree some people just have it about them. But eye contact can be misleading as its rude to stare and weird/homosexual/threatening to lock eyes with someone of the same sex for more than a second or 2.

Well yes it's threatning, but its one of the best ways to tell. The other is a handshake, never met a a confident guy who has a pussy handshake.

Nah. I'm pretty quiet in general but prepare to get your head ripped off if you start trying to take advantage of me.

In general...probably a link but it's not as common as you'd think.
