Basically, need to keep this anon for obvious reasons..

Today somebody i'm very close to at uni introduced me to somebody they are very close to.. and this person is world head of one of the worlds biggest banks.

when she/he introduced themselves i had no clue who she/he was. i googled his/her name and i'm so ******* shocked. we spent like 20 minutes chatting about my course and she/he was asking me some complex questions but i never clocked on at all at the time..

anyways long story short.. i've been invited round to their house with my close friend from uni for dinner.. and i'm not gonna lie.. i wanna exploit this opportunity..

i wish i could give more details but i can't

any tips on what i can do to get the most of this? networking tips?!

    Just be blunt.

"Look mate, we all know that to crack this industry, you need contacts - great gravy by the way, did your wife make it? Cool. Well can you offer me any advice or work experience to get me kick started? I'll be your best friend forever..."
