Hi, it is very urgent as the deadline for UCAS (set by my college) is for today.
Currently, I am studying:
BTEC Engineering (predicted MERIT)
AS Maths (predicted C or above)
BTEC Science(predicted MERIT)
I have also passed BTEC Travel and Tourism last year (achived MERIT,MERIT)
By July I will have at least 300 UCAS points, I am aiming for 360 points.
I alredy choosen 5 challenging universities where I would like to do my degree. Now I got to the point where I am affraid that I may not get any offer. Therefore I would like reconsider my chices and swap one chove for less challengin uni.
For this choice I would like some 'big city' uni where I could easily get a place to do Beng degree in mechanical engineering.
I would like to do a sandwich degree thus the uni should have offer one and have connections with the industry.
For example the entery level for mechancial engineering on the University of Portsmouth is only 240 UCAS points.
Are there any better big city universities offering mechanical engineering?
