    I don't think is true....

    I think it is. It means they don't tell you when you'll be released, even if it's not very long.

    I don't know what to think.

    I've heard that many asylum seekers get in on very shakey grounds and that we seem to be opening our doors to vagrants and people who refuse to work for their stay.

    However, I also know of several people with very real claims (such as they'll be shot if they return due to being a known anti-government activist or similar) who have been held in custody, abused, violated, had their papers "go missing" and generally been treated absolutely appaulingly before being "sent home" . . .
