I have already got my A Levels so have been able to apply to Uni's giving my results, but I am resubmitting a piece of coursework, grade pending.

I have recieved a conditional offer from one of my choices, and been given these conditions:

This offer is subject to you obtaining

This offer requires you to: send copies of your educational

certificates confirming the results listed on your

    application form

I'm confused whether I need to obtain a certain grade that they haven't put on here, or they've put that part without meaning to.

I am also curious to know why they want copies of my certificates when I have had several other offers which haven't asked for them.

    Many thanks

Nobody here can tell you for sure what they meant.

What you need to do is ring or email the University and get them to check.

Nope, they just want confirmation of your grades. Some unis ask for them, some of them don't. I'm not sure why, other than it's probably easier than looking you up on the database maybe? The conditional offers I've had are all on the condition I send them my certificates. They'll change them once they've received your certificates

Is is essentially an unconditional offer, but you are being specifically asked to prove your existing grades now. The other universities may ask the same thing at a later stage. If you intend to make it your accepted offer you'll need to send copies of your certificates in.

Actually, two people have done exactly that, quite authoritatively.

I also wrote about academic certificates (in effort and achievement) in my personal statement, does it include these?

It means GCSE, GCE AS and A level and IB certificates, or whatever other qualifications you are relying on.
