    Hi,

I need help on the 'root tip squash' experiment... We haven't even practised it in class but the teacher said we are doing it in the upcoming days. I was wondering if anyone else has done it and would provide some help? I've done some research and stuff but i still don't fully get it.

    any help will be appreciated.

we had no practice last year either. a step-by-step guide of what you need to do in the practical will be on the cwk paper.

It's really simple. You just have to prepare the root tip, add a stain etc. and then when you look under it in the microscope, you get to see all the cells in difference stages of mitosis. But as above poster said, you'll get all the details on the paper. Simple .
