When in yr 4 I was climbing up this pole thing we had outside our classroom and another boy in my class went "EWWWWW Beth's having sex with the pole!!!!"
Didn't know what sex was, so I endeavoured to find out lol. I think I actually finally discovered exactly what it was when I came across my Dad's Men's Health magazines and one had a "Sex Special"

I first found out about sex properly in year 5, when we watched a video about it in class. I don't remember my reactions to it other than my surprise because I'd never noticed before that women generally had more obvious waists than men.

I already knew about sperm and eggs before that, however, because my mum had explained to me and my sisters about how come we were triplets (two eggs, one split in two).

I googled the word 'sex' with a bunch of other 6 year olds and found a lot of hardcore porn.

My Mum told me. I know thats really cringeworthy, but I did ask her. She always told me and my brother the truth about stuff like that, I think I was about 7ish.
