I transferred from Cardiff to UWE withing 5 days so no youre not a complete reject, lots of people transfer, you just have to make sure youre doing it all for the right reasons. To me Kingston sounds better, a rude administrator is likely in this kind of process - just ignore it. Its not stupid to make yourself happier - though I did feel other people would be disappointed in me until I talked to them and they said they just want me to be happy with what I choose. Youve been at UWE for longer than 5 days, youve tried, you know a way to make it all better - so do it.

There will be forms etc. youll need to do so its not a simple process, are you gonna finish up the year?

    Thinking of transfering universities

Ok, so thank you for reading this.

I am seriously thinking about transferring unis....
I currently to to UWE, but I am realy quite unhappy (my flat mates are nice, but were not 'best friends' if you know what I mean)...therefore I have no-one to live with next year (Thats not what Im worried about, because I can always live with other students next year)....
    but

I live very near London, and basically, I am very home sick. I also have always wanted to work in a London hospital (Im doing nursing), so I don't realy know why I didn't choose a London uni in the 1st place.

Am I a complete reject?! because I feel like it.

I am thinking about transferring to Kingston university (s.t georges) and living with my boyfriend in/near Kingston.

Do many people actually transfer unis? Because when I spoke to the man at Kingston on the phone...he seemed quite rude and thought I was rude for turning them down in the first place.

Is it a big problem moving? I feel so depressed and stupid.

Has anyone been in the same boat? I would realy appreciate some advice
I'm seriously thinking about doing the same. I've applied through UCAS to start in the 2nd year of my degree at a different university, and am now just waiting for an offer. But, i really enjoy my uni, i'm just considering leaving due to the prestige of the other uni as opposed to mine. You must contact the uni, and they may ask you for your transcripts, and then you need to apply through UCAS, but the deadline for UCAS applications is the 22nd...so you better be quick if you're serious!!!
