A mixture of the sciences and humanities would be good. My friend does Anthropology, and he took Biology, History, and English Literature A levels.

I got an LSE place with History, English Literature, Maths and Economics.

Something like History/Geography and then maybe Economics are good, because they hold more academic credibility than something like a Sociology A-Level, yet still relate to the field you're interested in.

At the Kent Open Day, they recomended: Geography, History and Philosophy. I do English Lit, History and Psychology, and i have got offers, and another good subject would be any sciences (especially biology).

but aslong as your Alevels are acedemic, and most importantly, you do well in them, i dont think its too important.
