Basically me being lazy and stupid as usall have parapahase some of my personal statment from sources over the net, this then has caused me to have a 38% similarity report from ucas. Does this mean that my choices are not going to be considerd and i have to just wait to go through clearing.

    That was silly of you.

In answer to your question, no, this does not mean five automatic rejections. Universities have their own policies and some will still consider you.

It should probably specify on the letter itself, but at the end of the day, if it does stop you from being considered, it is your fault, because there will be many candidates who worked their ass off to write a totally original PS..

    Sorry

yep this. The information regarding the similarity will be passed on to the universities and then it will be down to their discretion as to whether they want to give you an offer or not based on this information.

sorry, but as has been said, if you get rejections you have no one else to blame but yourself, i worked damned hard on my personal statement, and technically got an offer from somewhere i shouldn't have been given one, and overall have 4/5 offers and one interview.....but good luck nevertheless you may still get offers...if not then there is clearing or reapply for the 2011 cycle..

    good luck

    Yeah
    It happened to me
    I've got 4/5 offers
If you've got the grades, they don't seem to mind

In my defence, it was my teacher letting someone else look at mine
