    Does anyone know theorists I can apply to my language investigation: gender sterotypes in children's television toy adverts?

    Hi! I'm afraid I can't help you on the "how I would use this to analyse" part, but it may be useful if you contact a local university and see if they can grant you guest access to their library in order that you can do some research. Universities often have much better access to research papers/databases and the like, and the staff will probably be able to point you in the right direction. Both myself (for English Lit) and a friend (for Spanish) requested and were granted guest access at Newcastle University - perhaps you'll be able to organise something similar?
