are their any quotes that have changed your life or motivated you to do well?

basically quotes that make you go "wow"

some that i often think of are:
    • "Wrok harder on yourself than you do on your Job"

    • "Fail to prepare, Prepare to fail"

and one other one about making yourself valuable and getting payed for the results that you produce and not for how long you work.

    what are yours?

All beings so far have created something beyond themselves; and do you want to be the ebb of this great flood and even go back to the beasts rather than overcome man? What is the ape to man? A laughingstock or a painful embarrassment. And man shall be just that for the overman: a laughingstock or a painful embarrassment…

I'm going to go with the most true to heart phrase about love I've found:

Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being in love which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.
