Incorrect, that was your interpretation of what was said. Half of the pass plus program is incoperated into driving lessons as it is. You want young drivers to pay extra money for training they learn and develop on the road. Because you've stereotyped all young drivers together as fast and reckless drivers. The driving is more than adqauete to access safe driving on our roads.
Well then I apologise. And not to the extent that Pass Plus is rendered redundant. Mostly because Pass Plus is concerned with ensuring that drivers can use our (expensive) motorway network correctly and can drive for longer periods of time. It also involves ensuring that drivers know how to drive in adverse weather conditions and how to deal with situations they weren't taught about in their test lessons.

Because they might understand the topic a bit better.
Not just people who have taken the test and passed might understand it better, even those who have taken it and failed might still understand the implications and necessities to driving, and all that comes with it.

If you think the driving test does not facilitate these implications and necessities. Why not include them in the driving test ? It seems like you want to squeeze people for money.

At the end of all this it's not about squeezing people for money, it really is about making the test as relevant and practical as possible and not getting silly.

It's obvious changes need to be made, nothing wrong with making a few adjustments here and there.
