My girlfriend is currently in lower sixth but hates her college.
She would really like to move colleges but there is an exam boards clash between the 2 colleges, only 2 out of the 4 subjects she is studying are the same at the 2 colleges.
She is studying English Literature and Religious Studies, which they are ok with, because the exam boards are the same.
But she also does Psychology, which for some reason she can't carry on, I can't remember why.
And American History, but the new college only does Modern History. The exam boards won't let her do the AS in American, and finish the A2 in Modern.
She really doesn't want to stay at the college as she is desperately unhappy. But she doesn't want to drop out and end up a year behind either.
So I thought maybe she could "cram" an AS in a subject which is more skills-based than content based, and then take the exams for it.
Does anyone think this would be possible?
If so, what subjects would be good choices?
She is better at creative/essay-based subjects. I thought possibly English Language.
