    also what is the best uni to be at for forensic science?

    Lincoln is pretty good. It's a really new uni, so they have all the latest stuff built-in to the labs rather than having the really old style of labs you get in some unis.

    Could a genetics MSci degree (like Medical genetics or biochemistry&genetics) lead to a forensic scientist career, or should one really do a master's degree in forensic science? I've read, for example, on the scottish forensic science department, that the start salary for a forensic scientist would be somewhere around 21-23k/an.Is this much or...?
