I am studying an MSc Computer Science at Oxford. My previous background is Electrical Engineering (5-year program).

I have recently been thinking of applying to work in a bank. Investment banking sounds interesting to me, but I do not know if I have chances to get a job in a bank (maybe as a trainee or intern), since I have no financial background.

Do you think it is possible?

    Thank you very much

academically yes, you are going to give yourself a chance

however you should be applying for some interships (quite late in the day now) and trying to get some good EC, plus a lot of research on the industry

The problem with internships is that most of them are in summer. I finish my degree in September

What is EC? (Sorry, I am from Spain)

    Thanks for your answer.
