Feeling quite upset after an argument watch

I've been really upset and sort of depressed lately. I got into a big fight with someone very important to me who I've been close with for several years. I don't want to go into all the details, but basically we "worked it out" and he seems to still be mad which sucks.

Anyway I'd like for this thing to be ironed out because it's bugging me like mad to have someone so clearly pissed at me. It's making me feel really down lately because we were tight and now he won't even give me the time of day.

I'm obviously leaving out quite a lot of the story, but is there anything I ought to do to get someone to quit being pissed? Or is there a good way to just quit feeling like rubbish about it?

Only way is to talk about it with him, I guess. He's gotta still be mad for a reason (even if it's irrational).

Maybe give him some time to calm down.

Cheers, Frances, Thanks. I supposed I ought to mention as well that it's been about six months since this argument happened... Haha, I suppose in light of that I need advice on letting it go! He clearly isn't, but I can be the bigger person and not hold a grudge.
