Hi, I am going to study Law at Uni this year and i wish to become a barrister in the future. I was just wondering how difficult the BPTC actually is in comparison to the degree.

    Thanks.

As hard as you make it.

From what I've read, it's about as hard as you want it to be. There is a trend - those which work hardest and get the very competent or outstanding grades work very much, and those which don't work so hard, maybe 20 hours a week, may not get those grades. As you can imagine, it's a big leap up from the LLB - you would be expected to be more independant and self motivated and harder working.
