How to write a Résumé for begginers watch

    Basicaaly I'm an IB student and for me to get the diploma I have to do CAS hours (Community, Action and Service). I want to volunteer at this hospital but they want me to write a résumé any tips and essential things i have to write?

    Take it to the CV Help thread. There's advice at the top of that forum and you can start a thread if you have specific questions

    Yup, CV help thread is an option, but really, IB&C gives more specialist advice. Best give it a bash then upload it to razume for us.

    I find most of these help sub-forums on TSR a bit generic, IB&C is a different kettle of fish really, so when people post here I never really encourage them to post in there. No offense .

    EDIT: However, the OP actually meant IB as in International Baccalaureate, not Investment Banking. Lol.

    The whole point about a CV is that it is never generic, that's why I mostly send people to the private thread. I'm not saying the CV Help thread is perfect, but it's a great deal better than teasing out fact from fiction in the threads in here!

    What I meant is that the advice in there is usually pretty generic and not geared towards Investment Banking. Anybody who wants a CV tailoring for Investment Banking should ask one of the guys here who knows what the industry standard is, failing that, Wall Street Oasis is a good website for CV help.
