I sold a phone recently to Cex (Computer Exchange) and got quoted £200. So I requested a jiffy bag, and got a pre-paid one a few days later, and sent it off to them. It's been over a week now and have heard nothing from them. I emailed them but they said they hadn't received it. I've even got the proof of postage. Can I make a claim for it?

    1) How come you didn't take it in to a Cex store?

    2) I think usually you can only make a claim if something has been sent special or recorded delivery. If you did send it special/recorded then I'd look into seeing if you can make a claim, which you should be able to.

Edit: I was referring to royal mail in point 2 by the way.

you can't get anything from Cex, but you might from the royal mail if you get a statement from Cex stating that they did not receive it.

Check royal to see if Cex recieved it. If not then claim on postage insurance.
