I completed the online application form on a whim as I hadn't thought about any career options and was spurred on by the mass of career emails from uni as soon as I hit 3rd year. I've been invited to an assessment centre which is coming up in a couple of weeks and so now I have to re-confirm my place
The trouble is, having given my future a bit more thought, I'd really like to have a gap year this year and then possibly go on to do a masters.
However it seems stupid for me to completely disregard the boots thing. If nothing else the interview experience would probably come in useful later on, but is it worth going to an interview for a job you no longer want? (Especially as it involves two 4 hour train journeys and a overnight stay in a hotel)
And then, getting ahead of myself, it would also seem really stupid to turn down the job if I was offered it.

I'd say go for it, it's an experience. As long as they're paying expenses!

If you haven't had much experience interviewing, then by all means go along. It certainly can't hurt.

Just wondering, did you go to the assessment and did you get it? I've been accepted to start in Sept 2010 and wondering who else is!

I've got the assessment day on Monday and was just wondering how it went and if you had any tips? Congratulations on being accepted!
