Hi basically, I fell down the stairs yesterday evening (from about half way) and I think I bashed the back of my head on a couple of the stairs/the skirting. I didn't get blurred vision, it just ached (as did the rest of me) XD

But today at school I've had a constant headache and random spells of dizzyness - they don't last long, it's sort of a head-rush moment where everything goes "whoaaa" and goes back to normal. I also feel a bit queasey.

I don't know if that's because I bashed my head and it's just a usual thing to happen or if it's because I've got minor-concussion or an actual injury.

What should I do? I don't want to go to the doctors and just be sent away with paracetamol, but then I don't know if this is something to be worried about?

Any advice would be much appriciated :o:

Do go to the doctors, head injuries can be really serious (even if they seem minor at first).

Better to be safe than sorry. If you do get sent away with paracetamol, just be glad that you've confirmed it isn't something more serious

Sounds like a concussion. You should probably go and see a doctor though

Take some paracetamol, wait until tomorrow, then go to the doctors if it doesn't get any better/get worse.

Right now, it's okay. But earlier at school, I felt really faint and nearly puked. However, I hadn't really eaten anything either (breakfast bar + hula hoops) as I just didn't feel hungry.

    Go to the school nurse.

Probably concussion, sounds like it when I had it.
