Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right thread, but TSR seems like the right place to ask it.
I have applied to do MA Geography at Edinburgh. I haven't got an offer yet, and I'm not optimistic that I will, but I have a few questions for any current students.
Firstly, how prestigious/intense is Edinburgh? I'd really like to go, but I don't want to feel inferior if everyone is super-intelligent, I don't want to be out of my depth.
What is the social life like? I want to go to a uni with a good balance between work and socialising, not like oxbridge, where there seems to be far more work than socialising.
Lastly, does anyone do MA Geog who could tell me what it's like, I would be so grateful, I'm so stressed out with everything at the moment!
Would you pay less for a humanities degree?
