    hello yesterday i went to a sixth form evening where i looked at all the courses on offer . i want to become a primary school teacher are theese options good

    sociology
    english lit or lang
    economics
    french
    what should i take between lit or lang. also do you reccomend me doing a degree then a PGCE or a 4 year degree in early childhood studies . Please comment on my choices and tell me what i sould do instead or if there all suitable thanks

    good selection if you want to become a primary school teacher, Lit is generally regarded much more highly then lang.

    Literature over language, and I'd advise getting a degree then a PGCE in case you change your mind.

    I agree with the others Eng lit over Eng lang, but you have a good set of subjects, with sociology probably being the weaker link.

    Wow, you're going to have a lot of work to do if you take those subjects :P
    Lit, not lang, and degree then PGCE, in case you want to do something different when the time comes.
