Punishment through elimination I'll agree with you is not always wrong, but forming a false sense of justice around that ideology is, especially when the elimination is done by some unseen person residing their will over everyone...there's a line, covering the faces of executioners is acceptable, for the safety of the executioner and their family, if the system they work for is a known entity, some guy sitting in his room making a list? So we have cowards making lists of the cowardly...nice one
I don't believe all criminals should be executed, far from it. Light killed too indiscriminately, eliminating people who didn't really do anything deserving of death.
Sometimes "cowardice" is the smart thing. More often than not, it is, to know where your strengths lie and where they don't, to hide from danger. Of course, it is cowardly to prey on the weak and innocent, or to make desperate attempts to save your own skin when you have done such things. I believe "pick on someone your own size" applies here. Yet people who do that also deserve to be killed, they are hypocrites.

Well at least you're not so bad as Light :p: but I still don't think one person should just go, bam you're dead and you have no idea who I am...maybe if the note was used as part of some system, and never continuously used by one person :dontknow:

Absolute power and all that jazz.

Also, you'd be unlikely to be caught as as far as I know, there's no real-world version of L.

No being caught would be almost impossible in the real world, but that's hardly the point :giggle:

    I suppose ...

Anywho ... if I ever make a programme which involves space ships ... I'm going to make sure I either mention artificial gravity at least once (near the beginning) or do it Gundam 00 style with no gravity, just those pully things ...

    Yes it is

I got out of a warm shower...and there was colour in my cheeks...it was horrific :afraid:
:giggle: My cheeks are usually lightly rosy. Though i'm a naturally warm person so I guess circulation explains that...

    How are you?

How is anyone who is here?

    Not so bad as

I think it's a matter of fair judgement. A death penalty for those who have escaped from conventional justice, not to tyrannise everyone.

Without L, yes it would probably be even easier, but even if he did exist... L could be trapped if I knew of his deductive abilities beforehand.

Awesome I would love to collaborate with you as I have so many ideas of my own

I like Gundam 00 space ships. Especially the Gundam 00 mothership - I can't remember her name. She's a believable design with that life support ring, apart from the GN particles.

From a production point of view you should have artifcial gravity - how would you film people floating about the place constantly? Would sent costs through the roof :p:

In 10 years, I wager that there will have been a movie which was actually filmed on the ISS. Expect a studio in space eventually

Rotate the camera on the spot and keep them on a blank white screen. :giggle: Epitome of cheap.

If the script was superb along with the acting, i'd have to disagree. :giggle:

    True.

You could probably get great zero gravity effects through filming underwater and then using CGI to eliminate the effects of water distortion. I believe you can integrate two separate shots nowadays? Convincing microgravity effects actually shot underwater digitall integrated with a spaceship scene :dontknow:
Computers are becoming able to do certain things automatically too. Photosynth I believe, can create 3D images of an area - could probably reduce the costs of making detailed video game environments if they could be wholly or partly created based on real-life footage.

Make the programme like Sanctuary (which is predominantly CGI) :P

But Artificial Gravity it will most likely have to be Even just using wires to hold them up, it'd still be unbelievable that their hair would just stay down, and a wind machine would make it look fake too.
