We can work on the kitchen then so long as I have that floor everything else is changeable...

Of course it'll have modern appliances...I wanted an aga, but it's just not the same in a house of that size, where the heat generated by the cooking will just dissipate...so it'll have to be an electric oven / microwave / hob, all the normal things

I kind of want an ice-cream colour on the walls in there, pink or blue or purple...and black glass table and polished black worktops...but not sure if a bright colour on the wall is in keeping with a kitchen...so maybe a dark colour or something else would please you more? cream doesn't go with the floor, and white might be a bit too much...with the proportions...
