Meh. Based on opinion really. :giggle: You're still in GCSE right? What's your specification module for English? What board are you on for it? You're going to be my project for the next few months. :hugs: You should be glad - I had a project in my GCSE years too. She did extremely well. :giggle:

I'd try and help you with the others but i'll be really busy and only specialise in English. :o:

    :hugs:
    i dunno about the modules.
I am doing both englishs with OCR, texts are Journey's end (play) section H of the exam bored poetry book
The exam bored short stories books

course work texts Romeo and Juliet (Act 3 scene1)
    Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde
"MY last Duchess" and "The Labatory" both by Robert browning
    and a creative writing peice

but I should be OK onii chan, I don't want to be a bother.

I'll do some research another day. I'm currently on my break at work so the connection is terrible.

I'll definitely be able to help you with Romeo and Juliet - though i'd have to re-read that part of the play again. I'll re-read Jekyl and Hyde too then.

I read My Last Duchess a long long time ago in year 10 for my anthology work... if I remember correctly, it was about a duchess who had been killed by her husband (the duke I think) due to the inconsistent paranoia and obsessive lust for control? I can't remember what I though of it.

What's your topic? Is it one coursework if all of those pieces of texts?

And you have a good memory, that is exactly what "My Last Duchess" is about

Thank you Cay. :hugs: I'll read it over when I return home.

All individual pieces of coursework? That's a little strange... and a shame. I would have enjoyed working on the comparisons between love and human nature in Last Duchess and Romeo and Juliet. :o:

What's the topic of your coursework/essay for Romeo and Juliet? I personally don't really like Romeo and Juliet - it's no Hamlet or Macbeth.

I myself have not read hamlet but I have seen it performed by the RSC. I must agree the Macbeth > Romeo and Juliet. The essay title is "In Act 3 Scene 1 of Romeo and Juliet, how does the interaction of the male characters lead to the tragic events of the rest of the play?"
