    I didn't like 'Ghost in the Shell' as much. I'll have a look the others though.

    I like the adult tone of Akira. It was like a Hollywood film with a decent plot, if that makes sense? I suppose that's the sort of anime I like along with Studio Gibli.

    You might like Eden of the East as well then - its got that kind of feel to it too. Oh and Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, Blood the Last Vampire and Death Note
