It says: "Obtain grades ABB at Advanced Level in 3 subjects"

Does this mean General Studies is included in the offer? (I already have a B in A2 GS) x

If they don't specifically exclude it then it's technically included - but if you've already completed it then it might be worth checking with them (it's not unknown for unis to change their mind at the last minute and they're within their rights under UCAS's rules)

It may or may not say that General Studies doesn't count. A lot of uni's don't take it.

If a university wants to exclude it then it has to say so explicitly in the offer wording itself.

The offer will say "ABB excluding General Studies" though if you've already got it certificated and they counted it, surely it the offer would be AB? So I assume not

It wouldn't include General Studies because you already have it.

Because 'obtain' is future tense - i would imagine it means from subjects you're taking, rather than taken. so no.

or you could just ring them?

The offer is conditional on you achieving another three grades this year. If they counted GS, I think your offer would have just been AB (I already have an A2 Level, and all of my offers so far have been for just two subjects - see my profile). So I doubt you can include it.

Contacted York and they said I only need another AB and my B already achieved in GS will be counted
