So my decision has come down to Edinburgh's MSc in International and European Politics and King's College London's MA in International Relations. I haven't heard from Edinburgh yet, but I'm leaning a bit towards KCL anyway (having already been accepted). Any thoughts would be welcome and helpful as I am American. I also REALLY want to commit to an offer soon, especially after seeing American healthcare legislation derailed and limits on corporate-political corruption removed, all in the same week.

I'm American too and I was accepted to Edinburgh for a similar program... MS Policy Studies. I hear both are great schools. I also am sharing your disillusionment with the current political situation in our god forsaken land.

Personally King's, the IR dept at my university are rather disparaging of IR at Edinburgh. Nothing more than hearsay however!

King's seem better to me than Edinburgh so I'm with you on that. Also good luck with the offer from Edinburgh.
