    Hi there,

Studying Accounting & Finance BSc, reading up on ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW etc to find out what I want to choose after I graduate next year.
What is the difference between Industry and Practice?
    What are they exactly?
is practice an Accounting practice that offers Audit & Tax for example.
    is industry, businesses?

"Industry" generally refers to working in the in-house finance department of a 'normal' business, so you'll be entirely focussed on the affairs of that business. "Practice" refers to working for an accountancy firm (or potentially a firm specialising in one particular discipline), who then provide their services to a range of 'client' companies.
