    hi guyss.

im just wondering if anyone can advise me on finance, i have no idea where to start and im sure many of you felt like that, everythings so confusing!!!

Im living at home and will be travelling everyday on the train as its only 15 minutes. Can i still get a grant if it all comes down to my mums income? what am i eligable for?

i tried to sign up on the gov student finance but it sounded like i was actually applying for finance when at the moment i dont know what i want so i just came off it!

    thankyouu

If you go onthe student finance website, theres a link where it will give you an estimate of how much you can get in grants/loans..

i'll have a look for it and put in up

    EDIT: Here's the link: http://www.studentfinance.direct.gov..._schema=PORTAL

click on 'create a new estimate for 2010/11' and it'll go onto another page when you need to put ina bit of info about your unis and income etc. It looks a bit daunting, bit its only giving you an estimate, and isnt actually signing you up for student finance

You can get a grant and loan but not the ones for living in obvs. Bursary from uni and a scholarship (if u get right grades)

If you register on the gov student finance, you can apply for everything and then they'll tell you to get lost if you can't get it.
There's loadsss of stuff on there for what you can get
also look on your uni's webby, theyre usually good
