Same applies in the bedroom.(Original post by Malsy)
not me. even if i do **** i wouldn't retake, i'm a bit weird but heyho! not weird exactly, but certainly different from people that like to retake about 10 times, but even worse those that retake even though getting As. I can see the plus side of this but tbh i just CBA!
Do more of the work, missy.
OP, I don't mind re-takes.
If I have to do them in order to improve my grade, I will.![]()
Is re-taking a 94 and 93 too much though?![]()

See, I'd do that too, but my college charges £35 per resit... So I can't really afford to resit unless it's really needed -

I never want to retake an exam. ever.
it other people do that's great,
but i'd always have the nagging feeling that i didn't really get the grade...
why would you feel as if you didn't really get the grade, it's still you taking the exam, and it will be different questions..? -

£35?! Jheez, I was complaining about £20. Any idea why they charge differently? and why some colleges actually pay for it all? It's ridiculous. It should be free! Or at least refunded if your grades go up.

Ugh me too
and I had a nasty habit of picking up extra subjects and giving myself more exams...it was a reflex action every time I did badly
oh no that chemistry exam went badly...maybe I should take up more maths modules to make up for it
worst thinking ever

Even if it was your dream to get 300 in AS Maths?
People dream of having ponies, playing football with Beckham, banging Cheryl Cole...
Mine was to get 300 in AS Maths. -

My mum's rule:
Lower than an A = Resit
Nah, I'd have resat it anyway but it is annoying how after a summer exam when I screwed up I told myself I'd revise properly for my resit, but then I just didn't. Which ended up in a messy few days of revising, cocking up the exam again and probably having to resit a resit. I loveee exams. -

i've never actually heard anyone have that opinion before!
why would you feel as if you didn't really get the grade, it's still you taking the exam, and it will be different questions..?
in life you can't retake...
and i don't like the idea of "failing" and having to do it again...i'd rather take it in my stride and move on..
also, i could never be bothered to do the revision again... -

i suppose that's quite a good policy to have to be fair!
gives you more time to revise for other exams i guess -

Me too!
I usually freak out in my first time exams and never do as well as I can. Even if I don't do that much revision for the resits I do a lot better merely because my nerves are less distracting.I'm lucky I have understanding parrnts who will pay £20 a resit.
