Just looking for some reassurance. My period has started today 6 days early. For several years it has been very regular, between 27-29 days, normally bang on 28. I don't think I have ever missed a period, but I did have one that was quite late a couple of years ago.

I've never been more than 1 or 2 days early, and this has come totally out of the blue - I just thought I was having a stomach ache (none of my usual pre-symptoms)! Does anyone know why this has happened? I haven't been exercising any more than I normally do, nor eating funny. I'm just a bit worried because I hope it doesn't signal that there's anything wrong.

I am on some antibiotics at the minute, but otherwise no other medication. Thanks peeps :o:

If you're on the pill, antibiotics can screw around with the effect it has, so it could be that. Either way, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, these things happen occasionally
