    If they copied large chunks of them/word for word then yes. It's only a site to get advice from.

    Yes, they would most likely be part of the UCAS library. The point of those being there is to give you ideas of what to include, writing style, etc... and so you can compare yours and see what offers they got in comparison. The point isn't to just copy and paste it at all.

    Yeah i know. I wish they'd told me they used this site before submitting their UCAS apps...as they'd already done it, when they asked if it would be okay, I was just like yeah it should be fine as you haven't copied the whole thing! But i fear they might get caught...

    yes, if its on the internet and freely available with things like google search then you can bet that it's in the UCAS library for checking for plagiarism. The same goes for the TSR wiki (although it does not apply to PS Help)

    And even if it isn't, you can be sure that some other idiot has copied it either this year or some point in the past, in which case it will be in the database.
