    Maybe its a form of respect....a way to remember him. It's not a must to have a tune for a funeral.

    Micheal Jackson's funeral they played Micheal Jackson's songs. It's a form of respect.

    Theres no such thing as funeral music ... sad funeral music is basically a steriotype if you like, some people say they would like their death to be a celebration more than a sad time and wish to be remembered for what they were.
    So why play sad music if someone isnt a sad person

    I'm guessing you aren't aware of the circumstances surrounding his death?
