GCSE module resits watch

    • Thread Starter

i just did biology, chemistry and physics exams (only for one module of the subjects), and i dont think i did too well on my chemistry. I really want to get an A*, because that's my predicted grade, and i really want to all three sciences at A level. I know i can get an A*, because i did really well on the mock. I worked out that if i get below 70% in this module, then it is impossible to get an A* as a final grade.

Do you think it's worth resitting a module if i get below 70%?

    thank you

I think it is best to wait until you have your results - you may have performed better than you think. The grade boundaries change each year depending on the relative difficulty of the paper and how students have responded to it. Shortcomings in some aspects of the course may be overcome by a better performance in others.
