Does anybody on here have any experience of teaching English in Chinese schools, generally, and specifically through REAL Gap?
I'm leaning towards booking a 6month stint with them for next year and wanted to hear some peoples' views first. The glowing testimonies towards which I have been directed by REAL Gap themselves are encouraging, but one wouldn't expect it to be any other way, right?
I see many disparaging remarks made on here about paying £X,XXX to 'volunteer' abroad and the many other ways that this can be achieved, but I'm currently of the opinion that something that's fairly complicated and involving work visas, checks with CRB equivalents, wages and liaisons with local schools is probably best done through a relatively large company??
