Try having a cold shower and then rest for a bit listening to very soft music (i.e coldplay :p: )

I woke up this morning with a headache similar to the worst hangover EVER. My head was pounding. I took four paracetamol and I can still feel it hurting. I also feel sick. But I didn't get drunk last night. I was working in a bar and had one drink at the end of the night. I drove home quite happily and didn't feel drunk at all. Any ideas about this headache?

:frown: I hate headaches.

I had the same thing when i woke up this morning, my head felt really funny. But i have a sore throat too, which makes me think that its probably some flu type bug :frown:

It could be stress, I have been suffering from this a lot lately and I have a lot of stress, its probably cuased by poor sleep.

I think you can have similar feelings to a hangover when you are dehydrated. Make sure you drink lots of water.

Alternitavely, there is a headachy and sickness thing going round so it might be that

Are your sinuses blocked also? Believe it or not - changes in air pressure can bring on headaches.
Stress or dehydration. Just drink loads of water.

I can empathise; this has happened to me before. I actually felt like sh*t. The best thing, I find, is a good fry-up. Food really gets me out of it! Go and get the hash browns on, make whatever your favourite meal is etc, then eat it on the sofa infront of a nice bit of comedy (Ally McBeal, SATC, Friends etc) - it should seen alleviate itself.
4 paracetomal is an overdose. 2 max every 4 hours. Drink a lot of water. Best cure for headaches.

The title of this thread made me feel a lot better about my hangover. At least I got some fun out of the booze last night.

Anyway, headaches can often be referred pain from your neck and back. I find a bath usually helps. On this occasion, it probably isn't this sort of thing (it sounds too severe) so probably just have to put up with it and hit the painkillers... I have some brilliant ones that make my bloody fingers go numb. No headache can defeat them.
It is probably the effects of the loud music, smoke, etc.

Sorry, back to the thread! Is it possible you're tired? Maybe if you have a hot bath, listen to some relaxing music and have a couple of hours in bed you'll feel better

I hope you're feeling great soon :hugs:
