How many offers do unis give out per place?
If i dont get the grades for my firm choice, is there much chance of them accepting me anyway?

I think it depends on the how competitive the course is and the Uni. I think some of them include the info on brochures and stuff.

It really depends on the university and course. E.g. if you had an offer from Cambridge and you missed it, they probably wouldn't let you in but if you had an offer from somewhere that regularly goes into clearing then they might. So we can't really answer you

Check if they normally go into clearing, if they do then there's a much higher chance of them accepting you if you only just miss the offer.

It varies by university and even department. Oxford and Cambridge over-offer by only 5 to 10% but more typicallly they give out at least three offers per place.
