Yes, you heard me right. BUTTOCK CHAFING. This is only (and I repeat - ONLY) an issue when it come to rowing on an erg at the gym. When I do pop down to the gym, I quite often like to do a little bit of rowing whilst I'm there, and normally select 2000m. However, after about 1000m, I have to stop, because I get horrendous chafing between the buttocks. To be precise, the top of my buttocks, just under my coccyx.
It results in the skin actually being rubbed off - like, I get an actual sore from it. Also, FYI, I am in no way fat, so that's not the problemo.

So, my question is: what can I do to stop it? Am I just 'doin' it wrong'? :o:

Vaseline solves many problems. Anyway, it's probably your trousers rubbing on you, perhaps a lable in them. Try some different ones or cut out the lables and see what happens.

Hahaaa, I don't own a single item of lycra, and with good reason!

But, I am gathering from some comments that it may be to do with my clothes. I shall therefore experiment clothes-wise next time I go :yep:
